Semitrailer

Heavy duty chassis made up two "I" shaped main beams in quality steel with connected cross members.
The under-structure is made of cross-members, front, rear and side bands.
All welding is camed out with M.A.G. procedure.
Kingpin: 3.5" standard king-pin detachable from below (2" kingpin is optional).
Landing legs: two speed comumn type manually operated.
Suspension (for models SC33TC and SC50TC): cantilever type with overturn leaf springs wich is center balanced on the three axles by means of equalisers.
Axles: square tubular section dual mounted axles ( 150 x 150 mm ) each 14 or 16 tons rated. The axles are provided with taper roller bearings and can adeguately mount spoke wheels for three segmented rims or disc wheels. Finned brake drums with expanding brake shoes of 420 x 200 mm. adjustable brake control levers.
Braking system: pneumatic with continuous automatic and adjustable circuits acting on all the wheels. Safety servo-distributor valve.
Electrical system: in line with that of the truck tractor.
Platform: standard 3 + 2 mm. chequered steel.
Boards: made of ribbed 2.5 mm. steel plate, all detachable (except the front one) and fitted with terminal up-rights. The rear and the side boards are 700 mm. high while the front one is 700 + 500 mm. high.
Standard outfits: one winch type spare wheel holder of with complete spare wheel and tyre, 2 rear half-mudguards with splash boards, 1 tool box with standard wheel tools, rear bumper, set of rope stretching windlasses and hooks.
Outfits on request: drinking water tank, tubular tarp for a total height from the platform of 1,900 mm., shaped PVC tarpaulin with eyelets and rope, additional fuel tank, twist locks for containers, outside platform width of 2,620 mm. for transport of containers without detaching side boards, light protection grids, slotted extra side boards high 500 mm., double king-pin position, three position load sensitive valve for regulatingbraking power.
